Motion S5M-11985That the Parliament notes plans by the Ministry of Defence (MoD) to dispose of assorted assets in Scotland, including part of the RM Condor base in Arbroath; recognises the budget challenges facing the MoD and considers that there will be instances in which such disposals can be justified, but believes that these should never be to the detriment of service personnel and their access to essential training, and believes that the area of RM Condor that is under threat of sale hosts a variety of essential and well-used training and storage facilities.
