A new poll from Find Out Now shows the continuing rise in support for the SNP under John Swinney’s leadership.
The SNP is projected to remain the largest party by far, with a massive pro-independence majority in Holyrood also forecast.
The poll, commissioned by The National newspaper, shows the SNP 20 points ahead of Labour and by far the largest party in Holyrood.
Meanwhile, Labour is predicted to win just 14 seats – their worst result in the history of devolution.
A huge pro-independence majority of up to 29 MSPs is also predicted.

This very positive poll shows that the Scottish electorate recognises how the First Minister is resolutely focussed on the country’s priorities.

John Swinney is providing strong leadership while a Labour Westminster government offers only broken promises, more austerity and continues to let Scotland down – with soaring energy costs and our key industries treated as an afterthought.
The SNP Scottish Government is demonstrating how better policy decisions can improve lives, from increased NHS capacity to a fairer welfare system to economic growth.
Scotland will reject the divisive and damaging hard right populism of Farage, increasingly imitated by the Scottish Tories, and Labour are set to pay the price for the long list of failures and betrayals they have racked up already.
The poll, by Find Out Now, predicted that the SNP would win 35% of the constituency share and 25% on the regional vote – nabbing 57 seats
