Success for Arbroath Performer at Scottish Youth Theatre’s National Ensemble Motion

Success for Arbroath Performer at Scottish Youth Theatre’s National Ensemble Motion

Graeme is delighted to have lodged a motion in Parliament congratulating Ramon Camerilleri Mortimer on his selection for the Scottish Youth Theatre’s National Ensemble

S5M-09618: Success for Arbroath Performer at Scottish Youth Theatre’s National Ensemble

That the Parliament congratulates the Arbroath performer, Ramon Camerilleri Mortimer, on his selection for the Scottish Youth Theatre’s National Ensemble; understands that auditions were held across Scotland and over 80 applications from young hopefuls were whittled down to a final line-up of 20; notes that membership to the ensemble lasts a year and participants are given the opportunity to collaborate with acclaimed theatre practitioners and companies on a monthly basis; acknowledges that Ramon was born in Malta but now stays in Angus, having moved to the area to study, and supports and celebrates EU students who choose to make Scotland their home.
