During #LivingWageWeek, I met with staff at the hotel to hear the positive difference the Living Wage is making to their lives.

I visited the Star Rock Shop Confectionery Shop in Kirriemuir to pick up a selection of their delicious treats. On every high street there will be a hidden gem - an independent retailer that offers something special and unique.

Delighted to congratulate Joyce Lyon on celebrating her 100th birthday today at a gathering of Monifieth Befrienders.

Delighted to visit Hayshead Primary to announce the winner of their competition to design my MSP Christmas card this year. Each year I ask a different school to help. There were many fantastic entries, a lot of talent on show, but Theo - pictured here with mum and dad - took the prize. It was a pleasure to present it to him today. Merry Christmas to the whole Hayshead community when it comes.

What an asset this facility is going to be to veterans cross the Moray area.

Bocliar Academy Skills Development Scotland

Great to hear from school staff, pupils and both Skills Development Scotland and Developing the Young Workforce on the work done in the school to prepare the young people for their career choices.

Graeme has had a dynamic start to the year, engaging in various activities supporting parliamentary campaigns and local organisations. This winter, he launched a Patisserie Masterclass in Prestonfield, aimed at nurturing young culinary talents from colleges across Scotland. Additionally, Graeme opened the STEM Nation Award event in Glasgow, celebrating achievements in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.

In his roles as Minister for Further Education and Higher Education, as well as Minister for Veterans, Graeme took part in the official opening of the HMS Montrose exhibition at Montrose Museum. He also represented the First Minister by laying a wreath at the Scottish National War Memorial, paying respects to those who made the ultimate sacrifice to protect our freedoms. He also visited visited Queen Margaret University to open their Outdoor Learning Hub and Discovery Trail.

Active in his constituency, Graeme held numerous surgeries throughout the year, engaging with local organizations including Radio North Angus and the Angus Crafts Association. He also visited Arbroath FC Community to discuss their efforts in promoting mental wellbeing through sports.

In Parliament, Graeme hosted the British Council team, who manage the Palestinian Scholars programme at several Scottish universities, and met with Ehlers-Danlos Support UK to highlight the challenges faced by those with this rare group of disorders.
